KILLSPEED INC. ANNOUNCES COLLABORATION
WITH ALEX MALDONADO

NEW KILLSPEED LOGO AND KUSTOM PRINTS

BROOKLYN, NY. - (July 25, 2008) - Killspeed Inc. Underground Kustom Kulture Apparel Company is proud to announce the collaboration work with Lowbrow Artist Alex Maldonado from California. This amazing Artists work has been featured among others in the new Kustom Graphics Book and Alex is also well known for his Designwork for the famous So-Cal Speed Shop. Be sure to make a stop at our Print Gallery online on Myspace (www.Myspace.com/killspeedinc) and our official website (www.killspeed-nyc.com)! You can pre-order the shirts with his prints from July 28, 2008 on.

About the Artist
Born in Los Angeles and raised by a single mom. Alex Maldonado changed schools like people in LA change cars: three different elementary schools, four junior highs and two high schools. To help cope with this nomadic lifestyle he escaped into his art, freeing his imagination and killing time until mom got home. Graffiti art was a big influence and spent years practicing the complex technique of urban hieroglyphics. As his art developed, the world of traditional tattooing and Kustom Kulture gave him a new impetus and encouragement to design tattoos for guys in the auto shop class. Today Alex finds himself creating more than just a few tattoo designs for the guys in the shop, now he finds himself designing the shirts on their backs as the chief designer for the famous SO-CAL Speed Shop. Alex is responsible for some of SO-CAL Speed shops coolest logos worn by young and old hot rodders around the world. Naming Basquiat, Goya and Seen as influences, Alex has developed his urban art to create worlds as diverse as the cities he grew in.

KillSpeed Inc. contacted Alex Maldonado after recognizing his work in the new Kustom Graphics book, where he was featured as well as KillSpeed's first Artist Sol Rac. After contacting Alex, the Makers of KillSpeed realized fast, that this would be a nice opportunity with an Artist, full of ideas to work with. Alex turned out to be straight forward, with a great personality and even more, a professional attitude towards his work. After receiving his first design, the Makers of KillSpeed Inc. knew, that this is what they were totally looking for and they can't wait to work with him again. The next design made by Alex for KillSpeed Inc. Will be ready by the beginning of August.

Sure, your contest photo entry might make it past the KillSpeed – Rude Chica In House Designers and gets shown online, but then you must face the harsh, merciless, all-seeing gaze of our panel of Photographers, Artists, Writers, Pin-Up Models and Musician judges. They shall review your Photos with machinelike speed, efficiency and analyze its flaws with the gusto of Rock 'n' Roll style, then decide its fate with a ruthless engine not seen since the racing days of Speed. Ok, not to scare you totally... Actually they're all quite friendly Rock 'n' Roll lovers from all around the globe. Get to know them well and who knows: you may increase your chance of making it to the finals or make a new friend.

What more can be added to this great fella: Based in Buenos Aires, Sol Rac accomplished to put a brandnew style in Low Brow art. His Designs made it within shortest time to be recognized all over the world. If it's Lowbrow, there is no way around him! Also, when KillSpeed started, SolRac was our first partner, which ended in a big friendship! Thanks Sol Rac!
